Crystal Palace welcome Swansea City to Selhurst Park on Sunday for the first Premier League meeting between the clubs.
The sides have played out 16 league fixtures in their history, with the most recent clash coming at the Liberty Stadium in the Championship in January 2011 a game Swansea won 3-0.
The Welsh club also ran out 3-0 victors on their last visit to Selhurst Park in October 2010 and historically hold the upper hand over their London-based counterparts, having won eight of their 16 previous league matches, compared to Palace’s four successes.
And Michael Laudrup s men will go into this clash high on confidence after their comprehensive 3-0 win over Valencia in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.
That result means Swansea are now unbeaten in their last three games after they bounced back from losses to Manchester United and Tottenham in their first two Premier League fixtures of the campaign to win 2-0 at West Brom and hold leaders Liverpool to a 2-2 draw.
However, Laudrup may have to do without captain Ashley Williams for the trip to London after the centre-back missed the Valencia game with an ankle injury.
Neil Taylor and Pablo Hernandez are definitely out with thigh and hamstring problems respectively, while Jose Canas (ankle) is also doubtful.
We ll have to see about Ashley, said the Dane.
Angel (Rangel, who was substituted in Valencia) is not injured, but I wanted to give Dwight (Tiendalli) a full game because we only have three full backs at the moment with Neil (Taylor) injured as well.
Palace have found their return to the top flight after an eight-year absence challenging, losing three of their four games so far.
The club s sole win came in their last home fixture against fellow strugglers Sunderland though, and they have lost just one of their last seven games at Selhurst Park.
However, manager Ian Holloway goes into the match facing something of an injury crisis, with Joel Ward (calf) joining long-term absentees Jonny Williams and Jack Hunt (both ankle), Glenn Murray (knee) and Paddy McCarthy (groin) on the sidelines.
Jerome Thomas and Yannick Bolasie could be in line to return after their ankle and hamstring problems, but midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi is suspended after his dismissal in the 2-0 defeat at Manchester United last Saturday.
